Technology and STEAM at JW Alvey Elementary School this evening
The public is invited to the fifth annual Western-end PWCS Technology and STEAM Showcase event on Wednesday, April 5 from 5-6 p.m. at Alvey Elementary School, 5300 Waverly Farm Drive, Haymarket.
Staff and students will demonstrate their STEAM—Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math—integrated projects.
See how students integrate technologies to solve challenges using the Engineering Design Process. Exhibits will include hands-on activities such as 3D printing, architectural design, green screen, MakeyMakey, create-a-house, stop-motion video, Bitsboard, internet safety, coding, and more.
