Burglary while Armed *SUSPECTS IDENTIFIED | ARREST – Further investigation by detectives with the Robbery Unit revealed that the accused and a male juvenile unlawfully entered the residence of the victim, a 20-year-old man. At the time of the incident, the accused was armed with a shotgun and intended to rob the victim of marijuana and money. Once inside the apartment, the suspects located the victim in a back bedroom where the accused struck him with the shotgun. Other occupants were also inside the apartment at the time of the incident and attempted to disarm the accused. A struggle ensued and, during the encounter, the shotgun discharged. At that point, all parties separated. The accused fled the apartment with an undisclosed amount of money. No injuries were reported from the altercation or from the shotgun being fired. Following the investigation, detectives obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Jordan Alize BOWDEN. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful. The juvenile suspect has since been identified and arrested in connection to the investigation.

Burglary While Armed [Previously Released] – On December 21 at 11:34PM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 14100 block of Fisher Ave in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a home invasion. The initial investigation revealed that two suspects entered the apartment armed with a firearm and demanded the occupant’s property. During the encounter, a struggle ensued between one of the suspects and an occupant of the apartment over the firearm. At some point, one round was discharged from the firearm into an interior wall. Both suspects fled the apartment on foot. Minor injuries were reported. This incident does not appear to be random. The investigation continues.
