Suspects brandish firearms at victims in Woodbridge Sunday night; one reports robbery

Armed Robbery – On August 20 at 10:55PM, Prince William County police officers responded to the El Pulgarcito restaurant located at 1306 Horner Road in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed the victim, a 33-year-old man, was sitting inside his vehicle in the above parking lot when two unknown men approached him. During the encounter, one of the men brandished a firearm while the other man took the victim’s property. Both suspects fled the area on foot. No injuries were reported. Officers searched the surrounding area for the suspects who were not located. The investigation continues.

Brandishing of a Firearm – On August 20 at 10:30PM, Prince William County police officers responded to the 15000 block of Carlsbad Rd in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a brandishing. The investigation revealed the victim, a 20-year-old man, was walking in the above area when he was approached by an unknown man. During the encounter, the man brandished a firearm and threatened the victim. The victim immediately fled and called police a short time later. No injuries were reported and no property was taken.
