Suspect sought in child endangerment, felony hit and run case

Attempt Malicious Wounding | Child Endangerment | Felony Hit & Run – On November 20 at 10:07PM, officers responded to the 13400 block of Jefferson Davis Hwy in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a domestic assault. The victim, a 25-year-old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she and the accused, an acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation earlier that evening at a residence located in Woodbridge which escalated.

The victim eventually left the residence in her vehicle with her two children, identified as a 6-year-old girl and a 2-year-old boy. The accused followed the victim in a separate vehicle as she drove to her place of employment in Dumfries. When the victim arrived, the accused intentionally drove into the victim’s vehicle twice while the victim and children were still inside.

At some point, the victim and children were able to run into a nearby business and contact police. The accused then grabbed the victim’s phone and wallet from her vehicle before fleeing the area. Following the investigation, officers obtained warrants for the arrest of the accused. Attempts to locate him have been unsuccessful.
Wanted:
Stephon Decarlos FORD, 44, of the 4300 block of Kenwood Dr in Woodbridge
Described as a black male, 5’11”, 155lbs with brown eyes and short black hair
Wanted for 3 counts of attempted malicious wounding, 2 counts of child endangerment, 1 count of hit and run, 1 count of petit larceny, and 1 count of driving on a suspended license

Burglary While Armed – On November 21 at 4:28AM, officers responded to investigate a home invasion which allegedly occurred at an apartment located in the 7000 block of Lakota Dr in Woodbridge (22193) earlier that morning.

The investigation revealed that three unknown men, two brandishing handguns, made their way into the apartment through an unlocked door and confronted the victims, both 22-year-old men of Woodbridge. The suspects took a shotgun and money before fleeing the apartment.

The victims then left the apartment and went to a nearby hotel where they contacted police. No injuries were reported. This incident does not appear to be random. The investigation continues.

Last seen wearing all dark clothing

Commercial Burglary – On November 21 at 9:57AM, officers responded to the El Gicarito located at 8059 Centreville Rd in Manassas (20111) to investigate a burglary. The business manager reported to police that the burglary occurred between 12:00AM and 9:30AM. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the business. A television, projector, computer laptop, DJ equipment, and several bottle of liquor were reported missing.
