Murder Investigation *ARREST – Suspect in December murder on Easy Street found in MD.
The accused, identified as Karen Nicole POLLARD, was transported to an area hospital in Maryland for treatment of minor injuries following the arrest, and will be extradited back to Prince Wiliam County for court proceedings related to this investigation. The Prince William County Police Department was not involved in the apprehension of the accused.

convicted felon

The victim was identified as Patricia Kathlean BEGLIN, 51, of no fixed address
Murder Investigation [Previously Released] – On December 28 at 7:56AM, officers responded to
a wooded area behind a business located in the 1200 block of Easy St in Woodbridge (22191) to
investigate a death. The investigation revealed the victim, a 51-year-old woman, was found lying on
the ground with a gunshot wound to the upper body and was pronounced dead on scene. During
the investigation, detectives identified the suspect as an acquaintance of the victim, and that the
shooting stemmed from an earlier argument over fentanyl pills. Detectives have since obtained
arrest warrants for the suspect, identified as Karen Nicole POLLARD. Attempts to locate the suspect
have been unsuccessful. The police department is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of this suspect. The investigation continues.
INCIDENTS
Reckless Handling of a Firearm – On January 24 at 12:31AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Springwoods at Lake Ridge Apartments located in the 12300 block of Midsummer Ln. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a shots fired call. The investigation revealed a round was fired before two men in the area were seen fleeing on foot. No evidence of shooting was located. No injuries or property damage were reported.
Commercial Burglary – On Jan. 24, 2024 at 12:15AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Tobacco King and Vape located at 13273 Worth Ave. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary. Video surveillance revealed at pproximately 12:00AM, an unknown man smashed the front door of the business to gain entry. Once inside the business, the suspect damaged property and took an undisclosed amount of money before exiting the business through the rear door. Officers and a police K-9 searched the area for the suspect who was not located. The suspect is described as wearing all dark-colored clothing and carrying a dark-colored backpack.
ARRESTS
Malicious Wounding – On January 23 at 8:49PM, officers responded to the 13200 block of Occoquan Rd. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an assault. The investigation revealed the victim, a 49-year-old woman, and an acquaintance were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. At one point during the encounter, another acquaintance, identified as the accused, intervened, and struck the victim in the face before fleeing on foot. The victim was treated at an area hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Officers located the accused walking on Occoquan Rd. where he was detained without incident. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Isaiah Tyree WILLIAMS, was arrested.
