UPDATE
Murder Investigation *ARREST – During the course of the investigation, detectives with the Prince William County Police Department’s Homicide Unit identified a suspect sought in connection to the double murder that occurred in the Featherstone area of Woodbridge (22191) on June 22, 2019.
The investigation revealed that the accused met up with one of the victims, Milton Beltran LOPEZ, in a wooded area behind a nearby business. At the time, LOPEZ was in the company of the second victim, Jairo Geremeas MAYORGA. During the encounter, an altercation occurred and both victims were fatally shot.
On November 22, the accused, identified as Abner Jose MOLINA-RODRIGUEZ, was apprehended without incident in Fauquier County in connection to a separate investigation. Information collected during the investigation connected the accused to the double murder in Woodbridge. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.
The investigation was assisted by deputies with the Fauquier County Sheriff’s Office and investigators with the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Murder Investigation *REWARD INCREASED [Previously Released] – Prince William County police continues to seek assistance from the community regarding the ongoing murder investigation of two men that occurred in the Featherstone area of Woodbridge in June 2019. The FBI Washington Field Office has partnered with the Prince William County Police Department to offer a $20,000 reward for the arrest and conviction of the individual(s) responsible for the deaths of these two men.
On June 22 at 10:25AM, officers responded to the area of Featherstone Rd and Blackburn Rd in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate the deaths of two men. A resident contacted police after discovering the bodies in a wooded area behind a nearby business. The bodies were transported to the Medical Examiner’s Office where autopsies were conducted to determine the cause and manner of the deaths. Following the examination of the bodies, both men were found to have been shot. The two men were identified as local residents known to frequent area businesses near the location where their bodies were discovered. Both men were last seen alive the evening prior on June 21.
Homicide detectives with Prince William County police are continuing their investigation with assistance from the FBI Washington Field Office Safe Streets/HIDTA Northern Virginia Task Force.
