Murder Investigation *ARREST – Rhebekah Alexis PATTERSON, who was wanted in connection to the May 12 murder of Jason Thomas MANNION, was taken into custody in the Charlottesville, VA area on December 19 without incident.

Murder Investigation *ARREST | WANTED SUSPECT [Previously Released] – On December 12, detectives from the Homicide Unit received information which ultimately led to the identification of three suspects involved in the murder of Jason Thomas Mannion which occurred at a residence in the 9500 block of Hensley Rd in Manassas on May 12. The preliminary investigation into the incident alleged that two of the suspects, identified as Marquan Antonio BROWN and Jhaire Nathaniel MONTGOMERY, attempted to rob the victim inside the home. During the encounter, the victim was shot and later died. A third suspect, identified as Rhebekah Alexis PATTERSON, was also determined to have participated in the incident. All parties were known to one another. Following the investigation, detectives obtained warrants for the arrest of these suspects. The BROWN suspect is currently incarcerated in Culpeper County on unrelated charges. The MONTGOMERY suspect was located and arrested in Culpeper County on December 15 without incident. The remaining suspect, PATTERSON, has not been apprehended and is currently being sought by police.

Homicide Investigation [Previously Released] – On May 12 at 2:45AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 9500 block of Hensley Rd in Manassas (20112) to investigate a shooting. Officers arrived at the home and located an adult male victim inside suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries. Other occupants were in the home at the time of incident and were unharmed. The preliminary investigation revealed that possibly two suspects entered the home and shot the victim before fleeing. A police K-9 responded to the scene to search for the suspects who were not located. On May 13, the victim involved in the shooting died at an area hospital as a result of his injuries. Detectives from the Homicide Unit are continuing to investigate this case.

**INCIDENTS**
Residential Burglary – On December 19 at 6:33PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 10000 block of Pentland Hills Way in Bristow (20136) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 10:30PM on December 18 and 5:30AM on December 19. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the home through a garage door. A desktop computer, laptop computer, and a GoPro camera were reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On December 10 at 12:05PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 13300 block of Kingsman Rd in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between November 28 and 11:00AM on December 10. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forces entry into the home. Several rooms were discovered ransacked. No property was reported missing.
**ARRESTS**
Sexual Assault Investigation – On November 9, detectives from the Special Victims Unit responded to investigate a sexual assault which allegedly occurred between 2006 and 2007 at a residence located in Manassas (20109). The investigation revealed that the victim, now a 24-year-old woman, was sexually assaulted on more than one occasion when she was 14-years-old by the accused, identified as a family member. The victim only recently disclosed the incident to a friend and contacted police. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested without incident in Reston on December 19.

Charged with 1 count of rape, 2 counts of aggravated sexual battery and 1 count of indecent liberties

Sexual Assault Investigation - On October 19, detectives from the Special Victims Bureau responded to investigate a sexual assault which allegedly occurred sometime between 2008 and 2011 at an apartment located in Manassas (20109). The investigation revealed that the victim, now a 15-year-old juvenile female, was sexually assaulted by the accused, an acquaintance. The victim recently disclosed the incident to a family member who contacted police. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested without incident on December 15.
