Suspect in Manassas abduction turns himself in, held without bond

Abduction | Strangulation *ARREST – On April 6, the suspect sought in connection to the Feb. 16 abduction that was reported to have occurred at the Regency Apartments located in the 9800 block of Shallow Creek Lp. in Manassas (20109), was arrested. The accused, identified as Jack MARTIN III, turned himself in to Prince William County police without incident.

Abduction | Strangulation [Previously Released] – On February 16 at 12:24PM, Prince William County police officers responded to investigate a domestic that was reported to have occurred at the Regency Apartments located in the 9800 block of Shallow Creek Lp. in Manassas (20109) earlier in the day. The victim, a 28-year-old woman, reported to police that she and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused grabbed the victim’s neck and prevented her from leaving the apartment. Eventually the parties separated, and the accused exited the residence. The victim reported minor injuries. Following the investigation, officers obtained warrants for the arrest of the accused, identified as Jack MARTIN III. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.
