Suspect charged in March 4 stabbing and wearing mask in public

Aggravated Malicious Wounding *ARREST – On March 4, officers identified the suspect involved in a stabbing at the Linden Park Apartments located in the 18100 block of Kilmer Ln in Triangle earlier that morning. Upon further investigation, officers determined that the suspect was an acquaintance of the victim. Following the investigation, officers obtained multiple arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Donte Vashaun STOUTAMIRE. On March 11, the accused was located and arrested in Arlington.

Aggravated Malicious Wounding [Previously Released] – On March 4 at 11:23AM, officers responded to the Linden Park Apartments located in the 18100 block of Kilmer Ln in Triangle (22172) to investigate a stabbing. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 33-year-old woman, was walking in the hallway of one of the apartment buildings when she was approached by a man wearing a mask. During the encounter, the suspect pushed the victim’s 12-year-old son then proceeded to stab the victim multiple times with a knife. The suspect eventually fled the area on foot and the police were contacted. The victim was transported to an area hospital with serious, non-life threatening injuries. At this point, this incident does not appear to be random. The investigation continues.
