Suspect arrested in October incident…theft of 2020 Honda Pilot while owner was cleaning it

Armed Robbery *ARREST – On Sunday, Nov. 29, the suspect Prince William County police detectives were looking for in connection with the armed robbery that was reported to have occurred in the 7300 block of Rokeby Dr in Manassas (20109) on Oct.19, was arrested. While investigating an unrelated incident, detectives identified the suspect as Takauri Anton WHITE. Officers located the suspect at a residence in the Manassas area and, following the investigation, arrested the suspect, according to MPO Renee Carr, public information officer.

Armed Robbery [Previously Released] – On Oct.19 at 11:48AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 7300 block of Rokeby Dr in Manassas (20109) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 33-year-old man, reported to police that he as cleaning his 2020 Honda Pilot when he was approached by an unknown man. During the encounter, the man brandished a firearm before demanding the vehicle keys. The suspect took the victim’s vehicle and fled the area at a high rate of speed. No injuries were reported. Officers located the vehicle unoccupied on Lariat Ln. A police K-9 search the area for the suspect who was not located.
