Impersonating a Police Officer – Arrest
At approximately 5:00PM on August 11, 2014 Manassas City Police responded to Harris Teeter, located at 10060 Market Cir, for a report of a possible assault. Upon arrival, the reporting party told officers that as he was leaving the grocery store, he witnessed an argument between the drivers of two vehicles in the parking lot. One of the drivers, who had exited his vehicle, engaged the witness and then approached him. The suspect produced a badge and threatened to arrest the witness before getting back into his vehicle and driving away. Through further investigation, it was learned that the suspect was not actual law enforcement. Officers were able to obtain a description of the suspect and his vehicle, and subsequently obtained search warrants for his residence and vehicle. Numerous items were removed from the residence stemming from the search warrant. On August 11th an arrest warrant was obtained for Hadley BLUE, 34, of 3345 Wyndale Ct, Woodbridge, VA 22192 for impersonating a police officer and he was arrested by Stafford County Sheriff’s Office on August 13th.
