Students from T. Clay Wood Elementary School in Nokesville were transported to Brentsville District High School as a precaution due to continued police activity in the area, according to Irene Cromer, spokesman for Prince William County schools.
All are safe and school activities will continue at Brentsville. “We are asking parents through social media and the news media to please avoid requests for student pick-up, as they may interfere with managing the situation,” Cromer said.
The status at Patriot has changed from lockdown to secure-the-building, due to police activity in the area. All are safe.
