Student, 17, charged with threat toward Woodbridge High

Hit & Run Crash Investigation – On September 12 at 6:07AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the intersection of Daniel Stuart Sq. and Maryland Ave. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a crash involving a pedestrian. The investigation revealed the driver of a red Kia subcompact crossover was attempting to turn left from Daniel Stuart Sq. onto Richmond Hwy. when the vehicle struck a 57-year-old female pedestrian who was attempting to cross Richmond Hwy. wearing dark-colored clothing.

The driver of the striking vehicle left the area prior to police arriving at the scene. The pedestrian was treated at an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. No other information is currently known about the striking vehicle or its driver. Investigators with the Crash Investigation Unit are asking anyone who may have witnessed this crash or has information about those involved to contact police. The investigation continues.

Brandishing of a Firearm – On September 12 at 10:20AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Coverstone 4 Apartments located in the 7600 block of Croce Ct. in Manassas (20109) to investigate a brandishing. The investigation revealed a maintenance worker was near a dumpster when he was approached by three unknown men. During the encounter, one of the men brandished a firearm before all three men walked away. No shots fired and no injuries were reported. The men were described as a black male, white male, and Hispanic male, all wearing dark-colored clothing.

<– On Sept. 11, 2024 at 1:45PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to investigate a domestic dispute that was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the 7800 block of West Point Ct. in Manassas (20109) on the morning of Sept, 9. The investigation revealed the victim, a 35-year-old woman, and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused grabbed the victim’s arms and prevented her from leaving the room. Eventually, the parties separated. The victim reported sustaining minor injuries during the incident. Following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Pedro Manuel LABRADOR, who turned himself in to the police on Sept. 12.

School Threat Investigation – On September 12, 2024 at 12:35PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to investigate a threat made on social media towards Woodbridge High School located at 3001 Old Bridge Rd. in Woodbridge (22192) received through the Bark Alert system. The investigation revealed an individual, later identified as a student of Prince William County Schools, sent threats of potential violence towards the school in an email to another student. Officers identified the accused and determined there was no credible threat to students, faculty or staff. On September 12, following the investigation, the accused, identified as a 17-year-old male juvenile, was arrested.
