Strong armed robberies and residential burglaries reported

**INCIDENTS**

Strong Armed Robbery – On October 17th at 1:25AM, officers responded to the 2800 block of Woodmark Dr in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 24 year old man of Dumfries, reported to police that he was in the above area when he was approached by a known acquaintance.  During the encounter, the suspect struck the victim before taking jewelry and a handgun from the victim. The suspect fled the area prior to police arrival. The victim was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. This incident was not random.  The investigation continues.

Strong Armed Robbery – On October 17th at 2:13PM, officers responded to the area of Graham Ct and Graham Park Dr in Triangle (22172) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 16 year old male juvenile of Dumfries, reported to police that he met two known acquaintances in the above area to sell some belts. During the encounter, the two suspects struck the victim in the face causing him to fall down. The suspects then took the victim’s belts before fleeing the area on foot. The victim was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspects who were not located. This incident was not random.  The investigation continues.

Residential Burglary – On October 19th at 9:30AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 18100 block of Tebbs Ln in Dumfries (22026) to investigate an alarm activation.  When officers arrived, a rear patio door was found to be forced open. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect who was not located.  An interior door was reported damaged. No property was reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On October 19th at 4:56PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 18200 block of Linton Ct in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 5:45AM and 4:40PM. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made into the home through an unsecured rear door.  Jewelry, clothes, and cash were reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On October 19th at 5:38PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 17600 block of Avenel Ln in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 4:08PM and 4:28PM. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made into the home through an unsecured garage door. A game console was reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On October 19th at 11:17PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 18000 block of Tompkins Ct in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 7:30AM and 11:15AM. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made into the home through an unsecured window.  Jewelry was reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On October 18th at 8:00AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 14600 block of Endsley Tn in Dumfries (22193) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 2:00AM and 7:30AM. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made into the home through the front door which was found unlocked. Two televisions and a game console were reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On October 17th at 11:02AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 1200 block of Davis St in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 12:00AM on October 16thand 7:00AM on October 17th. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made into the home through an unsecured window. Several tools were reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On October 15th at 2:18PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 6000 block of Genie Terr in Manassas (20112) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 8:00AM and 2:00PM. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the residence through a rear patio door which was found damaged. A watch and cash were reported missing.
