Strong arm robberies, burglaries, attempted burglaries in progress reported

Strong Arm Robbery – On December 3 at 10:10PM, Prince William County Police Department officers responded to the Family Dollar located at 2900 Dale Blvd in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a robbery. An employee reported to police that an unknown man entered the business and approached the counter to make a purchase. When the employee opened the register, the suspect reached across the counter and took money from inside the register. At some point, a struggle ensured between the suspect and the employee. The suspect eventually fled the area on foot. No injuries were reported. The investigation continues.

Black male of an unknown age, 5’07” with a thin build, black hair, and brown eyes
Last seen wearing a black knit hat, dark blue hoodie, and grey sweat pants

Strong Arm Robbery – On December 3 at 7:11PM, Prince William County Police Department officers responded to investigate a robbery which occurred on a walking path between Marumsco Plaza and the Bayvue Apartments in Woodbridge (22191) earlier that evening. The victim, a 31-year-old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she was walking towards her residence when she was approached from behind by three unknown men. At some point, the victim was struck in the back of the head causing her to fall to the ground. The suspects removed the victim’s wallet and cell phone before fleeing on foot. The victim returned to her residence and contacted police later in the evening. Minor injuries were reported. The investigation continues.

Black male of an unknown age, 5’03” with a medium build
Last seen wearing a grey hoodie, purple & gold hat, and a purple & blue bandana

Reckless Handling of a Firearm – On December 4 at 12:28AM, Prince William County Police Department officers responded to the area of Old Triangle Rd and Banks Ct in the Town of Dumfries (22026) to investigate a destruction of property. The caller reported to police that a bullet hole was located in a vehicle which was parked in the above area. Officers checked the area and did not locate any shell casings. A bullet was received from the vehicle. No injuries or other property damage were reported.

Residential Burglary – On December 3 at 12:17AM, Prince William County Police Department officers responded to a residence located in the 18300 block of Gilbert Rd in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that sometime between 10:30AM on December 2 and 12:00AM on December 3, entry was made into the residence through a rear door which was unsecured. A watch was reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On December 2 at 8:54PM, Prince William County Police Department officers responded to a residence located in the 3300 block of Bradford St in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that sometime between 6:00AM and 9:00PM, entry was made into the residence through a side door which was found damaged. A large amount of jewelry and DVDs were reported missing.

Attempted Residential Burglary – On December 4 at 8:40AM, Prince William County Police Department officers responded to a residence located in the 4100 block of Glendale Rd in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary in progress. A resident of the home reported to police that a noise was heard coming from the rear of the residence. When the homeowner went to check, a back door was open and two unknown individuals were seen in the back yard. The suspects fled on foot when confronted by the caller. No entry was made into the residence and no property was reported missing. Officers searched the area for the suspects who were not located.

Two unknown persons, approximately 6’00”, 190lbs
Last seen wearing black pants, black sweatshirts, white masks, and gloves

Attempted Residential Burglary – On December 2 at 6:55AM, Prince William County Police Department officers responded to an apartment located in the 16900 block of Porters Inn Dr in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a burglary in progress. The homeowner reported to police that an unknown person attempted to push open the door to the apartment. When the victim told the person she was calling police, the suspect fled on foot. No entry was made into the apartment and no property was reported missing. Officer searched the area for the suspect who was not located.

White female, unknown age, 5’02” with a thin build and straight black hair
Last seen wearing a black jacket – No further description provided
