State legislators set July 18 town meeting in Nokesville

State Del. Richard Anderson and State Senator Richard H. Stewart will conduct an in-person town hall meeting at the Nokesville Volunteer Fire Department on Marsteller Drive at 7:30 p.m., this coming Wednesday, July 18., for residents of the central and western portions of the 51st House District.

The legislators will discuss this year’s 2012 legislative session of the Virginia General Assembly (convened during January-March 2012), as well as any other issue on peoples’ minds, according to a news release from Anderson’s office.

Anderson was quoted as saying, “These town halls are invaluable tools for letting us know what’s on the mind of our neighbors, and they better equip us to represent Prince William County at home and in Richmond.  We look forward to talking and meeting our neighbors in person…”

The event will be at the Nokesville Volunteer Fire Department at 12826 Marsteller Drive in Nokesville. Anderson epresents the 51st delegate district. Stewart represents the 28th Senatorial District, which is now a larger portion of Prince William County under the 2011 redistricting plan.
