Stakeholders meeting Jan. 28 on plans for PWC Landfill eco-park
Plans are in the works to transform the Prince William County Landfill into a community resource for producing green energy and recovering valuable materials at the same time it provides opportunities for research and education.
To educate county residents about the possibilities and to generate some excitement, the Prince William Department of Public Works will host open meetings at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Jan. 28, at the Department of Parks and Recreation headquarters building at 14420 Bristow Road, George Hellwig Park.
