Special Victims Unit investigates alleged sexual assault on 12-year-old by family member

**ARRESTS**

Aggravated Sexual Battery – On August 7, detectives from the Prince William County Police Department’s Special Victims Bureau began an investigation into an assault which was reported to have occurred at a residence located in Manassas (20109) in May of 2017. The investigation revealed the victim, a 12-year-old girl, was sexually assaulted by the accused, a family member. The victim recently disclosed the assault to another family member who contacted police. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Juan Genaro Tum OSORIO, was arrested.

Juan Genaro Tum OSORIO, 33, of Manassas
Charged with aggravated sexual battery
