On Saturday, Sept. 24, Prince William County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority will host a social action forum to educate and empower the community on four timely topics.
This information packed, free forum will be from 10 a.m. to noon at First Baptist Church of Manassas, 9258 Center Street, Manassas.
Forum focus will include: Understanding community/police relations; how to advocate for your healthcare; human trafficking and domestic violence affects in our county; and voting rights restoration.
The presenters will be Ashleigh Landers Sutton, Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney , Commonwealth Attorney’s Office for Prince William County; Captain Willie Hardeman, Prince William County Sheriff’s Department; Sade Moonsammy, State Organizing Manager, Young Invincibles; and Andrea Bailey, The New Virginia Majority.
There will also be a question and answer session.
