**INCIDENTS**
Residential Burglary – On March 7 at 1:00PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 11700 block of Fingerlake Way in Manassas (20112) to investigate a burglary in progress. The investigation revealed that an unknown suspect entered an attached sunroom and attempted to enter the residence through an interior door which was found damaged. No entry was made into the main residence and no property was reported missing. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect who was not located. The investigation continues.
Attempted Residential Burglary – On March 7 at 1:44PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 14700 block of Penshire Dr in Gainesville (20155) to investigate a burglary in progress. The homeowner reported to police that an unknown man knocked on the front door. When no one answered, the man went to the back of the residence and attempted entry through a rear patio door. When the homeowner challenged the man, he fled the area in a blue 4-door sedan being driven by an unknown woman. A short time later at 2:00PM, officers responded to a separate home in the 16000 block of Post Point Way for a burglary in progress involving similar suspects. The resident of that home reported to police that an unknown man attempted to enter the residence through a locked rear door. When the resident challenged the man, the suspect again fled the area in a blue 4-door sedan being driven by the unknown woman. No entry was made into either home and no property was reported missing. The investigation continues.
Suspect Descriptions:
Black male, between 17 & 19 years of age, 6’00”, 140lbs, black hair and brown eyes
Last seen wearing a black jacket and white shoes
Black female, between 17 & 19 years of age– No further description provided
