Shooting victim in Manassas dies; PW Police ask public’s help

Homicide Investigation – On October 29, the victim from the earlier shooting on Quail Run Ln in Manassas died as a result of his injuries sustained during the incident, according to Sgt. Jonathan Perok, police department spokesman.

During the shooting, homes and vehicles in the area were also struck by gunfire. No other injuries were reported. Detectives from the Homicide Unit are currently following up on leads in the investigation. At this time, this shooting does not appear to be random. 

More information will be released as it becomes available. This is Prince William County’s 19th homicide for 2016.*
         
Identified: The victim in the shooting was identified as Edwin Ivan CHICAS, 22, of Manassas
