**ARRESTS**
Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On April 20 at 12:31PM, a Prince William County Sheriff Deputy was in the 18000 block of Kilmer Ln in Dumfries (22172) when she was flagged down by a citizen. The citizen, later identified as a 25 year old man of Dumfries, reported that he was involved in a domestic altercation with an acquaintance, later identified as the accused. During the encounter, the accused allegedly grabbed a knife and threatened the victim. At one point, the accused exited the residence and attempted to leave the scene. When the deputy attempted to detain the accused, she resisted and struck the deputy in the face. The accused was eventually detained with the assistance of another officer and subsequently arrested. The deputy sustained minor injuries as a result of the incident.

Estefany Nataly POCASANGRE, 24, of the 18000 block of Kilmer Ln in Dumfries
Charged with 1 count of assault & battery on a LEO, 2 counts of obstruction of justice, and 1 count of assault and battery
Court Date: Pending| Bond: Held WITHOUT Bond
Attempted Malicious Wounding | Domestic Assault and Battery – On April 15 at 11:00AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 3600 block of Brockenbrough Dr in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a domestic altercation. The victim, a 22 year of man of Dumfries, reported to police that he was involved in an argument with the accused, an acquaintance, inside the home. During the encounter, the accused assaulted the victim then pulled out a knife. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested without incident. Minor injuries were reported.

Cynthia Adrienne HARRIS, 39, of the 3600 block of Brockenbrough Dr in Dumfries
Charged with attempted malicious wounding and domestic assault & battery
Court Date: Pending| Bond: Held WITHOUT Bond
