Several PWC law enforcement officers wounded in line of duty

ARRESTS
• Malicious Wounding of a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] –
On Friday, Jan. 19, 2024 at 8:56AM, officers were in custody of the accused at Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center at 2300 Opitz Blvd. in Woodbridge (22191) for an evaluation.
While in custody, the accused struck the officer in the face, knocking the officer to the ground. Hospital staff intervened and detained the accused until additional officers arrived on scene.
The officer reported serious injuries.
Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Rodney Leon WARD,was arrested.

* Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On Jan. 21 2024 at 8:32PM,
Prince William County Police officers responded to the Rivergate Apartments located in the 13100 block of Marina Way in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a domestic dispute.
When officers arrived at the residence, the accused was observed physically preventing the victims, a 12-year-old girl and a 44-year-old man, from leaving a room.
When officers attempted to intervene, the accused kicked two law enforcement officers.  After a brief struggle, the accused was detained without further incident. No injuries were reported, and the child was turned over to the custody of known parties. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Brandi Denette DULING, was arrested.

Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On January 19 at 11:20PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Courtyard Marriot located at 14300 Crossing Pl. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a person making threatening statements.

The investigation revealed an unknown man, later identified as the accused, began threatening an employee and refusing to leave after not being allowed into the business. When Prince William County Police officers arrived on scene, the accused was threatening an employee and was subsequently detained.

While investigating the incident, officers determined the accused was intoxicated. When officers attempted to escort the accused to a police vehicle, he actively resisted and kicked the door of the police vehicle causing it to strike an officer. After a brief struggle, the accused was secured without further incident.
The officer reported minor injuries. No physical contact occurred between the accused and the employee. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Octavious N. HODGES, was arrested.

Charged with assault & battery on LEO, obstruction of justice, disorderly conduct, and intoxicated
in public
