Serious crash in Woodbridge VA Tuesday evening

**INCIDENT**
Serious Crash – On January 7, 2014 at 6:49PM, police responded to the area of Jefferson Davis Highway and Mt. Pleasant Drive in Woodbridge (22191) for a crash.
The investigation revealed the driver of a 2013 Nissan Sentra was southbound on Jefferson Davis Highway at the intersection of Mt. Pleasant Drive in the left turn lane. The driver turned into the travel path of a 1998 Honda Accord travelling northbound on Jefferson Davis Highway.
The driver of the Honda Accord was not able to avoid a collision and struck the Nissan Sentra on passenger’s side of the vehicle. The driver of the Nissan Sentra was ground transported to an area hospital. The driver of the Honda Accord sustained minor injuries. Investigation continues.
