Second suspect arrested in connection with Oct. 29 attempted strong-arm robbery

Attempted Strong-Arm Robbery *ARREST –On November 12, 2019, the second suspect sought in connection to the attempted strong-arm robbery that was reported to have occurred in the 17100 block of Dumfries Rd. in Dumfries (22025) on October 29, was arrested. The accused, Destiny Michelle HAGANS, was arrested without incident. An additional suspect was previously arrested in connection to this case on November 6.

Attempted Strong-Arm Robbery *ARREST [Previously Released] – On November 6, one of the suspects sought in connection to the attempted strong-arm robbery that was reported to have occurred in the 17100 block of Dumfries Rd. in Dumfries (22025) on October 29, was arrested. The accused, Eddie Alexis RIVERA, turned himself in to the police without incident. Attempts to locate the other suspect have been unsuccessful.

Attempted Strong-Arm Robbery [Previously Released] – On October 29 at 10:56PM, officers responded to the 17100 block of Dumfries Rd. in Dumfries (22025) to investigate a fight. The victim, a 28-year-old man, reported to police that he was in the above area when he was approached by two acquaintances, a man and a woman. During the encounter, the suspects demanded money from the victim before striking him in the face and rummaging through his pockets. A female witness attempted to intervene and was pushed to the ground by the female suspect who demanded money from her as well. The suspects fled the area in a gold Toyota Avalon. The victim reported minor injuries. No property was taken. Following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for the suspects, identified as Eddie Alexis RIVERA and Destiny Michelle HAGANS. Attempts to locate the suspects have been unsuccessful.
