School Board meets tonight at 7; other school/community meetings cancelled

Prince William County Public Schools and community evening activities including night school, GED, and adult education are cancelled as of 6:30 p.m. tonight due to predictions of below freezing temperatures and a clipper system passing through our area.
Schools will continue to operate for the rest of the day. SACC will close at normal time (6:30 p.m.).
The School Board meeting scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Kelly Leadership Center will take place as scheduled.

Manassas Council names Steve Burke as new Manassas City Manager
Steve Burke, an Assistant City Manager and Director of Public Works for the City of Manassas, has been named City Manager by Manassas City Council effective February. 3, 2025. Interim City Manager Douglas Keen will return to his post as Police Chief and an Assistant City Manager.
