Santa Parade in Lake Ridge Dec. 9 to be held as scheduled

Santa Claus will be coming to Lake Ridge, Va. today, Saturday, Dec. 9, to participate in the annual Santa Parade which gets underway at 11 a.m. along Harbor Drive near Tackett’s Mill Shopping Center, according to Nancy Kyme, parade chairman.
Parking arrangements may be different if there is any measurable accumulation of snow so early arrival is advised.
Coles Supervisor Marty Nohe is the Grand Marshal.
Prince William County Police Department traffic units will be on hand to direct traffic.

Time to pay Prince William County property taxes; deadline is Dec. 5
Taxpayers are encouraged to pay their taxes before the Dec. 5 due date. A late payment penalty of 10 percent will apply to any unpaid tax balance after the Dec. 5 deadline. Additionally, interest will accrue monthly on unpaid balances at a rate of 10 percent per annum until they are fully paid.
