Objects Thrown at Vehicle
At approximately 9:00PM on May 23, 2014 Manassas City Police responded to the 9700 block of Grant Ave for a report of objects being thrown at a vehicle. The victim told officers that he was struck in the temple by a small rock while driving with his windows down past the intersection of Grant Ave and Byrd Dr. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
Robbery
During the early morning hours of May 25, 2014 Manassas City Police was dispatched to 7-Eleven located at 9807 Cockrell Rd for a report of a robbery. The reporting party told officers that at approximately 3:10AM, two black males entered the business wearing covers around their faces. One of the suspects displayed a handgun and pointed it at a clerk without saying or taking anything. The two suspects then fled the store on foot in an unknown direction.
Description of suspects: (1) Black male, 15-25 years old, 5’8” with a thin build wearing a white t-shirt, black pants with white lines down the sides, and sneakers; (2) Black male, 15-25 years old, 5’4” with a thin build, wearing no shirt, blue track pants with white lines down the sides, and beige-colored shoes/sandals. His face was covered with what appeared to be a blue t-shirt with a white, orange and red logo on it.
