Robbery reported at Dumfries Road beauty salon

Robbery
At approximately 9 p.m. on Dec. 23, 2015, Manassas City Police responded to Hair Cuttery (10072 Dumfries Rd) in reference to an armed robbery that had just occurred. The reporting party told officers that just moments prior, a male subject entered the store, implied that he had a gun, and demanded money from a store employee. The employee complied, and the suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash towards the parking lot at Giant (10100 Dumfries Rd).
          Description of suspect: Black male, late 20s - early 30s, 5’8”, 170lbs, deep voice. Wearing a green woodland camouflage shirt buttoned at the top (similar to an Army battle dress uniform (BDU) top), dark gray cargo pants, a black balaclava-style/ski mask and thick black gloves.

Larcenies from Auto
On Dec. 24, 2015, Manassas City Police met with a resident on the 8300 block of Tillett Loop for a report of a larceny from auto. The reporting party told officers that sometime between 7 p.m. on Dec. 23 and 11 a.m. on Dec. 24, someone entered her unlocked vehicle and stole her wallet and an iPod valued at $20.

On Dec. 24, 2015, Manassas City Police met with a resident on the 8900 block of Longstreet Dr for a report of a larceny from auto.  The reporting party told officers that sometime between 3:30 p.m. on Dec. 23 and 8:30 a.m. on Dec. 24, someone entered her vehicle and rummaged through the center console, from which an undisclosed amount of cash was reported stolen. There were no signs of forced entry into the vehicle.

Vandalism to Auto
On Dec. 24, 2015, Manassas City Police met with a resident on the 9700 block of Bragg Ln for a repot of a vandalism to auto. The reporting party told officers that sometime during the overnight hours, a rear window on her vehicle had been shattered. Damages were estimated at $150.
