**UPDATES**
Armed Robbery *ARREST –
On May 20, detectives from the Robbery Unit identified one of the suspects involved in the robbery which was reported to have occurred in the 17400 block of Denali Pl in Dumfries (22026) on May 7. Following the investigation, detectives obtained warrants for the arrest of this suspect, identified as Ekow Nkansha ADAMS. Detectives with the Street Crimes Unit located and arrested ADAMS without incident leaving his residence in Dumfries later that evening.
Arrested on May 20:
Ekow Nkansha ADAMS, 19, of 17451 Kagera Dr in Dumfries
Charged with robbery, burglary with intent to commit robbery, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, and destruction of property
Court Date: July 1, 2016| Bond: Held WITHOUT Bond

Armed Robbery [Previously Released] – On May 6 at 6:25PM, officers responded to the 17400 block of Denali Pl in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 30 year old man of Dumfries, reported to police that he was delivering Chinese food to a home in the above area when he was approached by two unknown men. The suspects attempted to get the delivery man to enter the house, but when he refused they produced a handgun and relieved him of the food and money. The suspects then slammed the front door to the house. The victim returned to the restaurant and called police. The victim advised that the house appeared to be vacant. Officers checked the residence and discovered that a rear ground floor window had been smashed out. Officers, including a police K-9 responded to search the area for the suspects. No suspects were located and no injuries were reported. The investigation continues.

**INCIDENTS**
Attempted Murder | Shooting Investigation –
On May 22 at 12:00PM, officers responded to the 1400 block of Eisenhower Cir in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a shooting. The victim, a 27 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he drove to the above area to meet with several acquaintances. During the encounter, one of the men grabbed money from the victim and a verbal argument ensued. At some point, the victim attempted to hit one of the men, identified as Jordan Jaycee JONES, with his vehicle. JONES then brandished a handgun and fired at the victim, missing him. The victim then crashed his vehicle into a nearby tree. The parties eventually separated and the suspects left the area. Minor injuries were reported to the victim as a result of the crash. Detectives have determined that this shooting was not random. Following the investigation, detectives with the Robbery Unit obtained warrants for the arrest of JONES. Attempts to located JONES have been unsuccessful. The investigation continues.

Wanted for attempted murder, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and reckless handling of a firearm

Armed Robbery – On May 21 at 11:45PM, officers responded to the Harbor Freight located at 14250 Smoketown Rd in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a robbery. Employees reported to police that an unknown man entered the business just before closing. As the store closed, the suspect brandished a firearm and demanded money from the employees. The man took money from a safe and cells phones from the employees before fleeing possibly on foot. No injuries were reported. Officers checked the surrounding area but did not locate the suspect. The investigation continues.

Male of an unknown race– No further suspect description provided
Last seen wearing a cloth covering the face, camouflage shirt, and dark colored pants

Residential Burglary – On May 20 at 11:48AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 9800 Par Dr in Nokesville (20181) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred sometime between 6:00PM on May 19 and 5:30AM on May 20. The investigation revealed that entry was made into an attached garage through an unsecured side door. A dirt bike was reported missing.
Stolen Property:
A red & white, 2010 Honda 250-R dirt bike with “488” on both sides of the rear white fender

Commercial Burglary – On May 19 at 7:30AM, officers responded to the Macys located at 8270 Sudley Rd in Manassas (20109) to investigate a burglary. Upon reviewing the business video surveillance system, an unknown suspect was seen entering the business through an unsecured side door around 6:38AM then leaving through another door at 6:54AM. Clothing items and purses were reported missing.

Last seen wearing a grey hoodie and grey sweatpants
