**Arrests**
Hit and Run – Arrest
At approximately 10:20PM on September 23, 2014 Manassas City Police responded to the Train Depot, located at 9431 West St, for a report of damage exceeding $2,000.00 to a parked vehicle. Upon further investigation, officers located and charged John William STAGGS, 40, of 6918 Hovingham Ct, Centreville, VA 20121 with driving while intoxicated and hit and run. STAGGS was held on a $2,000.00 bond. Marie Desiree OLLEK, 38, of 3503 19th St S, Arlington, VA 22204 was charged with drunk in public and was released on personal recognizance. Each has a pending court date of November 25, 2014.
Brandishing a Firearm – Arrest
At approximately 11:10AM on September 27, 2014 Manassas City Police responded to the 9100 block of Quarry Rd for a report of a person with a gun. Upon arrival, officers met with the victim and the suspect and learned that during a road rage incident in the area of Liberia Ave and Quarry Rd, the suspect had brandished a firearm at the victim from the window of his vehicle. The suspect, Evan Zachary CLUFF, 31, of 10331 Cabin Ridge Ct was issued a summons for brandishing a firearm and has a pending court date of October 28, 2014.
Suspicious Event – Incident
On September 26, 2014 Manassas City Police met with a resident on the 9200 block of Taney Rd for a report of a suspicious event. The reporting party told officers that at approximately 5:00PM, she found an unknown male subject standing in the threshold of her bedroom door. The subject immediately told her he had the wrong house and ran out the front door. Once outside the residence, the suspect drove away in a gold Honda Accord.
Description of suspect: White male, 6’2”, 200 lbs, black hair and eyeglasses, wearing khaki pants and a t-shirt
Shots Fired – Incident
At approximately 11:15PM on September 27, 2014 Manassas City Police responded to the area of 8800 Fort Dr for a report of shots being fired. The reporting party told officers that he had observed a late model red minivan driving down Jackson Ave by Fort Dr. As it passed, the driver fired two gunshots out of the vehicle. The vehicle then proceeded back along Jackson Ave towards Sudley Rd until it was out of sight.
