Road closures in PWC Sunday, Sept. 25; detours in place during half marathon
MANASSAS – Drivers can expect delays in the Manassas-Gainesville area and are advised to use alternate routes Sunday, Sept. 25 from 6 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. for the following road closures related to the Prince William Half-Marathon:
· US 29 between Heathcote Boulevard and VA 234
· University Boulevard between Wellington Road and US 29
· Wellington Road between Limestone Drive and David Williams Way
USe 29 motorists will be detoured via Heathcote Boulevard, Catharpin Road and VA 234 back to US 29; Wellington Road motorists will be detoured via Limestone Drive, Linton Hall Road (VA 619) and Devlin Road back to Wellington Road.
Detour signs and message boards will be in place. Prince William County Police will be on hand to direct traffic.
