Residents’ screams appear to discourage attempted residential burglary

Attempted Residential Burglary – On June 18 at 12:02AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 17300 block of Rocky Mount Ln in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a burglary in progress, according to a report from Officer Nathan Probus, police department spokesman.

Several residents of the home reported to police that an unknown female kicked open the front door. The suspect fled the area on foot when several of the residents screamed. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect who was not located. The investigation continues.
Suspect Description:
Unknown race or gender, 5’11”, 160lbs with black curly hair last seen wearing dark clothing

Strong Armed Robbery – On June 25 at 12:52AM, officers responded to the area of Yale Ct and Cotton Mill Dr in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 41-year-old man of Woodbridge, was walking in the above area when he was approached by several unknown suspects. During the encounter, the suspects knocked the victim to the ground then took his wallet and cell phone before fleeing the area on foot. Minor injuries were reported. No suspect descriptions are available at this time.

Residential Burglary – On June 25 at 3:04PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 8400 block of Leland Rd in Manassas (20111) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 11:00PM on June 22 and 9:00PM June 25. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the residence. A television was reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On June 23 at 3:31PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 4100 block of Anderson Rd in Triangle (22172) to investigate a burglary in progress. A resident of the home reported to police that an unknown man was heard entering the residence through an unlocked door. When the resident went to investigate, the suspect fled the area on foot. A firearm was reported missing. A police K-9 searched the area for the suspect who was not located.

A white male of an unknown race, 5’08”, 170lbs with long, straight brown hair
Last seen wearing grey shirt and camp pants

Residential Burglary – On June 22 at 9:34PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 14200 block of Madrigal Dr in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 7:00AM and 9:00PM. The investigation revealed that entry was made into an unsecured attached garage. A silver Kona Mountain bicycle was reported missing.

Attempted Residential Burglary – On June 23 at 9:25AM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 15200 block of Colony Pl in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an attempted burglary. A resident of the apartment reported that sometime between 8:30AM and 8:55AM, entry was attempted into the apartment through the front door which was found damaged. No entry was made into the apartment and no property was reported missing.
