Rep. Comstock to host job fair for veterans on June 12

Congresswoman Barbara Comstock (R-VA) has announced the 10th Congressional District Veterans Jobs Fair will take place on June 12th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Loudoun County Public School Administration Building located at 21000 Education Court, Ashburn, Virginia 20148. 

The Veterans Jobs Fair will be inviting federal and state agencies, businesses, local Chambers, and veterans groups working to employ our skilled military when they transition to civilian jobs.

“Our men and women in the military have served their country with honor to protect our freedoms.  When these service members leave the military to transition to civilian jobs, we want to make sure we utilize their talent and they are able to apply the skills they gained in service in a variety of ways in civilian jobs also.

“The 10th District is home to many federal and state agencies, businesses, local Chambers, and initiatives such as The Northern Virginia Technology Council’s Veterans Employment Initiative that all provide assistance and job recruiting for our veterans. The job fair will provide a platform for veterans and those seeking to employ our veterans to come together for a day of networking and tapping into the broad spectrum of those who want and need the talents of our veterans.”
