Reminder of makeup school days in Fauquier County

Parents and guardians of students in Fauquier County Public Schools are reminded that school will be in session on Monday, February 16 (President’s Day) as a makeup day. 

Also, Tuesday, March 24 – which was initially scheduled as a parent/teacher conference day with no school for students – will now be a full day of school for students.

With the loss of the designated parent-teacher conference day, teachers will instead schedule conferences as needed and/or at the principal’s direction.

Since 12-month employees were scheduled to have a holiday on President’s Day, Human Resources will provide guidance by Feb. 13 on alternative leave.
