The Spring 2015 session schedule for the Virtual High School @ PWCS, Prince William County’s online high school program is now at http://virtualhigh.schools.pwcs.edu .
This distance learning opportunity offers flexibility, low teacher-student ratio, and an alternative to traditional classroom instruction.
Registration is an online-only process that begins January 7 and closes February 2.
The Virtual High School (VHS) will deliver 21 full-credit courses aligned with the Virginia Standards of Learning in a semester format during the spring 2014 session, from February 4 to June 3.
The program offers courses in foreign language, health and physical education, language arts, math, science, business and social studies. It is ideal for students who want to work ahead, recover credit, or fulfill electives, according to a PWCS press release.
VHS courses are taught by highly qualified PWCS teachers and students earn a full course credit in a semester length session.
Students interested in enrolling should speak with their counselor and view the student criteria on the website before registration.
