Rabies clinic Sept. 26 at Manassas Animal Shelter

Manassas City Animal Shelter, 10039 Dean Drive, will conduct a rabies clinic to vaccinate dogs and cats on Saturday, Sept. 26, from 9 a.m. to noon, according to a news release from the city police department.
The fee is $10. Also available will be a microchip for $30. This is for a one year membership and includes registration.

On Friday, Nov. 22, the American Red Cross will mark the grand opening of its new state-of-the-art blood donation center in Manassas. This new facility will collect thousands of blood products each year from generous donors who roll up a sleeve to help save lives.
