Prince William Education Association (PWEA) will host a town hall meeting on Thursday Jan. 10 from 7 to 8 p.m. at Parkside Middle School in Manassas to sign up “cyber lobbyists” and toair educational issues that may be the focus of legislation at the 2013 General Assembly.
PWEA Board Members will present topics under consideration by the General Assembly and Board of County of Supervisors, according to Jennifer Rokasky, a board member. These include the budget, continuing contract, teacher evaluation, and VRS, and their potential impact on all Prince William County School employees, she said.
PWEA welcomes all school employees and education stakeholders. Computers will be set up for participants to sign up as cyber lobbyists after the Town Hall meeting,
