Tomorrow, July 19, the Prince William Board of County Supervisors says it will announce plans to open a Crisis Receiving Center (CRC) at a 10 a.m. press conference in the Board Chambers of the James J. McCoart Administration Building, located at 1 County Complex Court, Prince William, VA, 22192.
Opening the Crisis Receiving Center is in response to a March 9, 2021 directive issued by Potomac District Supervisor Andrea for County staff to examine establishing a CRC and Trauma Treatment Program in Prince William County. Bailey cited a significant need for mental health support, including increased community-based services and inpatient psychiatric beds.
