PWC teacher of Russian language receives Excellence in Teaching award

Paul Rischard of Hylton High School was presented the 2015 Excellence in Teaching Award for U.S. secondary schools by the American Association of Teachers of Slavic and East European Languages.

The award cites Rischard as “a passionate teacher whose efforts promote that most important of initiatives: the teaching of Russian at the pre-college level. An effective organizer and selfless person who gives much to his students beyond the curriculum, Paul richly deserves this year’s award.”
