PWC schools cancel today’s after school and evening events

Prince William County Schools announced that beginning at 6:30 p.m. today, Tuesday, Sept. 18, all after school and evening student and community activities are cancelled due to the potential for severe weather, according to Irene Cromer, school spokesman. School Age Child Care (SACC) will close at its regular time, Cromer said.

Time to pay Prince William County property taxes; deadline is Dec. 5
Taxpayers are encouraged to pay their taxes before the Dec. 5 due date. A late payment penalty of 10 percent will apply to any unpaid tax balance after the Dec. 5 deadline. Additionally, interest will accrue monthly on unpaid balances at a rate of 10 percent per annum until they are fully paid.
