PWC school staff to serve on boards of directors
Robin Weisman, administrative coordinator for the PWCS Office of Special Education, was recently appointed to the Board of Directors for the Autism Society of Northern Virginia. Board members serve a minimum term of one year.
The society serves a community of over 5,000 individuals and families affected by autism through education, advocacy, and support.
Weisman has been with PWCS for 15 years, formerly as administrative coordinator for Autism Programs in the office of Special Education and as an autism specialist before that.
She also serves on the Disability Services Board of Loudoun County.
Diane Harazin, supervisor of Instructional Technology in the Department of Information Technology Services, was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Virginia Society for Technology in Education for the 2016-2019 term.
Harazin has more than 20 years of experience in her field and was on the forefront of the “Bring Your Own Device” initiative in education.
She has presented at local, state, and national conference on innovative practices, resources, and instructional strategies and best practices.
