PWC police say Woodbridge teen took his own life

Suicide Investigation – On November 12th at 4:52PM, police responded to the 11900 block of Cotton Mill Dr in Woodbridge (22192) for a report of an unconscious person.

The caller reported to police that he was walking his dog along a path in the above area when he found the victim unconscious. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives from the Homicide Unit arrived and determined that the victim sustained a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The handgun was recovered at the scene. The victim, a juvenile, was identified as a student of Prince William County Public Schools.
