• Possession of a Firearm on School Property – On Thursday, Feb. 10, 2022 at 8:40AM, a School Resource Officer (SRO) was informed that a tip was received by the police department alleging that a student at Gar-Field High School, located at 14000 Smoketown Rd. in Woodbridge (22191), was in possession of a weapon on school property. The SRO notified school security of the tip and then located the student, later identified as the accused, inside the school. During the investigation, the accused refused to cooperate and a brief struggle over his backpack ensued. The SRO was eventually able to take possession of the backpack where a firearm was located inside. The accused was taken into custody, and the SRO took possession of the firearm. No injuries were reported. The weapon was never brandished towards other students or part of any active threat. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as a 15-year-old male juvenile, was arrested.

• Assault & Battery | PWC Public School Teacher Arrest – On February 8, the School Resource Officer (SRO) assigned to Fred Lynn Middle School, located at 1650 Prince William Pkwy. in Woodbridge (22191), began a joint investigation with Child Protective Services (CPS) to investigate an alleged assault by a teacher against a student that reportedly occurred on school grounds on February 4. The investigation revealed that a 14-year-old male student was suffering a mental health crisis. During the encounter, school staff, including a teacher, temporarily restrained the student in an attempt to keep him from harming himself or others. After being released, the teacher, identified as the accused, spat on the student before the parties separated. The incident reportedly took place in a classroom during school hours. Other school personnel were present during the encounter and reported the matter to the school administration who then notified CPS. No injuries were reported by the victim. On February 11, following the investigation, the accused, identified as Eselyn MAHEIA, was charged. The accused is a teacher with Prince William County Public Schools.

• Malicious Wounding – On Thursday, Feb. 10, 2022 at 12:32PM, officers responded to Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center located at 2300 Opitz Blvd. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an assault. The investigation revealed that a hospital nurse was attempting to assist a patient, identified as the accused, while in the restroom. During the encounter, the accused struck the nurse before leaving the restroom. The nurse sought assistance from
other employees who contacted police and provided first aid. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Breasia Lashe CAREY, was arrested.

• Attempted Aggravated Malicious Wounding – On Monday, Feb. 7, 2022 at 2:14PM, officers responded to the Center at Rollingwood shopping center located in the 13800 block of Foulger Sq. in the Lake Ridge area of Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a fight with weapons. The victim, a 51- year-old man, reported to police that he was approached by an unknown man, later identified as the accused, while in the parking lot. During the encounter, the accused brandished a knife and swiped it towards the victim while yelling obscenities. The victim ran to a nearby business where police were contacted. Officer located the accused on Great Oaks Dr. where he was determined to be intoxicated and detained. No injuries were reported. Once in custody, the accused made multiple threats of bodily harm to officers. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Jerrold Long FEUCHTWANGER, Jr., was arrested.

• Attempted Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On February 11 at 9:50PM, officers responded to the Market at Opitz Crossing shopping center located in the 2000 block of Daniel Stuart Sq. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a man who appeared to be intoxicated and was kicking trash around. Once on scene, officers made contact with the man, identified as the accused, and attempted to take him into custody. During the
arrest, the accused actively resisted and refused to follow the officer’s commands. After a brief struggle, the accused was taken into custody without further incident. During the encounter, the accused attempted to kick an officer. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Lawrence WILLIAMS Jr. was arrested.

• Commercial Burglary – On February 11 at 11:23PM, officers responded to the La Moida Hair Salon located at 10540 Lomond Dr. in Manassas (20109) to investigate a burglary-inprogress. The business owner reported to police that they received a security camara alarm notification from the location. Upon checking the video surveillance, an individual was observed inside the salon. When officers arrived at this business, they observed a man, identified as the accused, inside the salon where he was detained without incident. The investigation revealed that the accused smashed the front window of the salon before gaining entry into the business. Video surveillance revealed the accused also entered a neighboring business, the El Mejor Supermercado. An undisclosed amount of money was reported missing. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Andy Rolando SEVILLA-MARTINEZ, was arrested.

Incidents
• Armed Carjacking – On February 10 at 8:40PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to investigate a carjacking that was reported to have occurred in a parking lot located in the 15600 block of Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191) earlier that evening. The victim, a 58-year-old man, reported to police that he was approached by two unknown men while parked in the lot. During the encounter, one of the men brandished a firearm before demanding the victim exit the vehicle. The victim got out of the vehicle, and the suspects fled the area. The victim was not injured and returned to his residence where he contacted police. Later that evening, officers responded to investigate a hit & run that reportedly occurred in the area of Jefferson Davis Hwy. and Cardinal Dr. The other driver in that incident was also uninjured and had returned to their residence where police were contacted. The investigation determined the striking vehicle was the same vehicle reportedly involved in the earlier carjacking. The only suspect description available at this time is two short Hispanic males wearing dark colored clothing. The investigation continues.

• Commercial Burglary – On Thursday, Feb. 10, 2022 at 6:28PM, officers responded to Ryth-Mix Audio Production located at 13002 Occoquan Rd. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary. An employee reported to police that the burglary occurred sometime between 12:00AM and 6:00AM. The investigation revealed that forced entry was made into the business through one of the doors. Various electronics were reported missing.
