DAILY INCIDENT REPORT - December 26, 2024
Incidents
• Strong-Arm Robbery – On Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2024 at 4:48PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the ABC Store located at 2231 Old Bridge Rd in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed a store employee attempted to stop a patron who was attempting to take unpaid merchandise. A physical altercation ensued before the suspect was able to leave the store with two bottles of alcohol. Officers checked the area for the suspect who was not located. The suspect was described as a Middle Eastern male in his 30s, approximately 5’7” with a slim build wearing a dark-colored jacket overtop a dark-colored sweatshirt, and carrying a dark blue backpack.
• Strong-Arm Robbery – On Monday, Dec. 23, 2024 at 7:25PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the 13200 block of Occoquan Rd in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed the victim, a 37-year-old man, was approached by a man who struck him several times in the face before taking an undisclosed amount of money and leaving the area. The victim walked to a nearby business where police were contacted. Officers checked the area for the suspect who was not located. The suspect was described as a white male in his 40s, approximately 5’7” with a stocky build wearing glasses and a dark-colored jacket.
Commercial Burglary – On December 24 at 11:34AM, officers responded to the PNC Bank located at 10261 Bristow Center Dr in Bristow (20136) to investigate an alarm activation. The investigation revealed entry was made into the building through a rear window found damaged. Multiple items were damaged inside the building, no property was reported missing. Officers checked the area for the suspect who was not located.
• Vandalism on School Grounds – On Friday, Dec. 20, 2024 the School Resource Officer assigned to Brentsville District High School located at 12109 Aden Rd in Nokesville (20181) was notified of vandalism at the school that was discovered on December 18. The investigation revealed a swastika and other inappropriate language were drawn on a plastic partition inside a bathroom. The drawings did not appear to contain any threats towards students or staff, and no additional markings were reported.
ARRESTS
• Sexual Assault Investigation – On Saturday, Dec. 21, 2024 Prince William County Police Department detectives concluded an investigation into a sexual assault that was reported to have occurred in the Shoppers Square shopping center located at 8300 Shoppers Sq in Manassas (20111) on Dec.19. The investigation revealed the victim, who was under the age of 17, was leaving work when she was offered a ride home from a previous customer, later identified as the accused. During the encounter, the accused parked behind the shopping center and sexually assaulted the victim before the parties separated. The victim reported the incident to a friend who contacted the police. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Darwin Rene JOVEL MORALES, was arrested.

• Sexual Assault Investigation – On Friday, Dec.20, 2024 Prince William County Police Department detectives concluded an investigation into a sexual assault that was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the Woodbridge (22191) area of Prince William County on Dec. 8. The investigation revealed the juvenile victim was inappropriately touched by a family acquaintance, identified as the accused, on more than one occasion over the last few months. The victim recently disclosed the encounters to a family member who contacted police. Following the investigation, detectives obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Orsy Germai MARTINEZ-VILLANUEVA, who was arrested without incident on Dec. 20.

* Malicious Wounding (Domestic) – On December 25 at 8:49PM, Prince William County Policeofficers responded to a residence located in the 7000 block of Trails End Rd in Manassas (20112) to investigate domestic assault. The investigation revealed the victim, an 83-year-old man, and a family member, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused cut the victim to the hand with a sharp object. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as John Henry DILLION III, was arrested.

•Malicious Wounding (Domestic) – On Dec. 23, 2024 Prince William County Police officers concluded an investigation into a domestic assault that was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the 10100 block of Statesboro Ct in Manassas (20109) on Dec.14. The investigation revealed the victim, a 53-year-old man, and a family member, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused struck the victim causing him to lose consciousness. The victim was treated at an area hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Following the investigation, officers sought charges against the accused, identified as a 16-year-old male juvenile, who was later arrested on Dec. 23, 2024.

• Abduction (Domestic) – On Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, 2024 at 11:08PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 13200 block of Haddock Dr in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate domestic assault. The investigation revealed the victim, a 21-year-old woman, and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused forcing prevented the victim from separating from him before he pushed her into a window causing the glass to break. The parties eventually separated. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Andrew Scott MADDALENA, was arrested.

• Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On December 25, 2024 at 5:37PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the OH Market located at 7412 Stream Walk Ln in Manassas (20109) to investigate a shoplifter. During the investigation, officers detained the accused who became combative and pushed an officer before attempting to flee. The accused was eventually detained without incident. Minot injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Joseph Emmanuel MENDEZ, was arrested. At the time of arrest, drug paraphrenia was found on the accused who was also determined to be wanted on multiple capias warrants.

• Commercial Burglary – On Dec. 25, 2024 at 5:14PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Hey Dude store in Potomac Mill located at 2700 Potomac Mills Cir in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary. The investigation revealed a man, later identified as the accused, forced entry into the store from an exterior entrance and was walking around the building. The suspect left the building and was located a short time later at a nearby hotel where he was detained without incident Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Terrell Jefferson JACKSON, was arrested.
