Incidents
• Malicious Wounding – On Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2022 at 6:58AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Planet Fitness located at 7680 Stream Walk Ln. in Manassas (20109) to investigate an assault. The victim, a 46-year-old man, reported to police that he was approached by a family member, identified as the accused, while in the locker room where a verbal and physical altercation occurred.
During the encounter, the accused repeatedly struck the victim several times before the victim hit his head on a locker and fell to the ground. Once on the ground, the accused continued striking the victim before leaving the business. An employee was informed of the altercation and notified the police. The victim was transported to an area hospital with nonlife threatening injuries. Following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Cameron Michael PAYTON. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.

Described as a black male, approximately 5’11”, 180lbs., with brown hair and eyes

•Commercial Burglary – On Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2022 at 9:35AM, officers from the Prince William County Police Department responded to Route 28 Vapes located at 8103 Centreville Rd. in Manassas (20111) to investigate a burglary. Upon arriving at the business, the manager observed damage to a rear basement window. Surveillance footage revealed that at approximately 1:50AM, an unknown man smashed the rear basement window of the business to gain entry. The suspect then selected items from shelves before fleeing the business through the same window. Smoking devices and flavored vaping products were reported missing.
Suspect Description:
A white male, between 20-30 years of age
Last seen wearing a dark grey hooded sweatshirt, green colored gloves, grey sweat pants, and blue Jordan 10s shoes
• Residential Burglary – On Jan. 25, 2022 at 9:20PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 13700 block of Langston Dr. in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred sometime between 12:00AM on January 5 and 2:00PM on January 25. The investigation revealed that entry into the home was gained through a front window that did not appear to have been damaged. A dresser and a television were reported missing.
Arrests
• Assault and Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On Sunday, Jan. 23 at 6:19PM, Prince William County Police Department officers responded to a residence located in the 5500 block of Assateague Pl. in Manassas (20112) to investigate a domestic in progress. Upon arriving at the home, officers observed one of the involved parties, later identified as the accused, leaving the scene in a vehicle. Officers conducted a vehicle stop where the accused was taken into custody without incident.
The investigation revealed that the accused and a family member, identified as a 64-year-old woman, were involved in a verbal altercation the escalated. During the encounter, the accused struck the victim. Another family member, identified as a 27-year-old man, was also struck by the accused when he attempted to intervene. Eventually the parties separated, and police were contacted. Both family members reported minor injuries. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Sierra Antris WARD, was arrested. While processing the accused at the Eastern District Station, she refused to follow officer’s commands and kicked an officer. The accused was resecured without further incident. The officer was not injured.
