**INCIDENTS**
Fatal Crash Investigation – On February 29 at 11:02AM, investigators from the Crash Investigation Unit responded to the area of Wellington Rd and Livingston Rd in Manassas (20109) to investigate a crash involving a motorcycle. The investigation revealed that the operator of a 2003 Harley Davidson Springer Softail motorcycle was traveling eastbound on Wellington Rd near Livingston Rd when the operator, for unknown reasons, lost control and struck a 2005 Ford F150 pickup truck traveling westbound on Wellington Rd. The operator of the motorcycle was transported to an area hospital where he died as a result of his injuries on March 5. The driver of the F150 pickup truck was not injured. Currently, it is unknown if speed and drug use were factors in the collision. The victim was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. The driver of the 2005 Ford F150 was identified as a 51 year old man of Stafford
Armed Robbery – On March 11 at 7:20PM, officers responded to the 7600 block of Cass Pl in Manassas (20109) to investigate a fight. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 27 year old man of Manassas, was involved in a verbal altercation with three unknown men which escalated. During the encounter, one of the men brandished a firearm then struck the victim in the head causing the firearm to discharge one round which missed the victim. The suspects took the victim’s cell phone and an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the area on foot. The victim was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. No other injuries or property damage were reported. A police K-9 and helicopter were used to search for the suspects who were not located. The investigation continues.

Reckless Handling of a Firearm – On March 14 at 5:36PM, officers responded to the 15700 block of Edgewood Dr in Dumfries (22025) to investigate a shots fired call. Multiple callers reported to police that a gunshot was heard in the above area. Officers checked the area and located a shell casing near a home on Edgewood Dr. No injuries or property damage were reported. The investigation continues.
