PWC Police report domestic related cases during region’s big snow

**ARRESTS**

Malicious Wounding | Domestic Related – On February 12th at 8:09AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 13400 block of Greenacre Dr in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a domestic disturbance. The victim, a 36 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused grabbed a knife and stabbed the victim multiple times to the upper body. Another resident of the home contacted police. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested without further incident.

Jason Edward CLYBURN, 37, of the 13400 block of Greenacre Dr in Woodbridge
Charged with malicious wounding
Court date: unavailable | Bond: held WITHOUT bond

Strangulation | Domestic Related – On February 13th at 5:29AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 3300 block of Bellflower Ct in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a domestic disturbance. The victim, a 24 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused assaulted the victim and, at one point, choked her. Minor injuries were reported. The accused left the residence prior to police arriving at the home. The accused returned to the residence as officers were still on scene and was arrested without further incident.

Glenn Smart KIMBROUGH, 26, of the 3300 block of Bellflower Ct in Woodbridge
Charged with strangulation and domestic assault & battery
Court date: unavailable | Bond: held WITHOUT bond

*Note: Due to the county government closure, there was no daily incident report issued for Thursday, February 13th.
