Strangulation *ARRESTS – On January 31, Nathan Tariq ANDERSON was located and arrested. The accused was wanted for an assault which occurred in a parking lot located in the 12500 block of Kempston Ln in Woodbridge on December 16.

Nathan Tariq ANDERSON, 25, of 7811 block of Chapel Cir Apt 103 in Lorton
Charged with strangulation

Strangulation [Previously Released] – On December 16 at 1:25AM, officers responded to the 12500 block of Kempston Ln in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate an assault which reportedly occurred in the parking lot. The victim, 23-year-old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she and the accused, an acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused began to choke the victim. The parties eventually separated and police were contacted. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, officers obtained warrants for the arrest of the accused, identified as Nathan Tariq ANDERSON. Attempted to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.
**ARRESTS**
Armed Robbery | Grand Larceny Auto – On February 2 at 9:19PM, officers responded to the 4200 block of Cheshire Station Plaza in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate an armed robbery. The victim, a 43-year-old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she was loading groceries into her vehicle in a parking lot in the above shopping center parking lot when she was approached by an unknown man brandishing a handgun. The suspect took the victim’s keys then got into the vehicle and fled the area. No injuries were reported. The vehicle was eventually located by police in Maryland where the driver was taken into custody by law enforcement. The vehicle and a handgun were recovered. The accused remains in custody in Maryland pending extradition back to Virginia.

Charged with robbery, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm by a minor

Malicious Wounding – On February 2 at 11:40PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 8000 block of Ashland Ave in Manassas (20109) to investigate a domestic. When officers arrived, they located the victim, a 27-year-old woman of Manassas, suffering from a laceration to the head. The investigation revealed that the victim and the accused, an acquaintance, were involved in a verbal dispute which escalated. During the encounter, the accused struck the victim in the head with a blunt object. The victim contacted police as the suspect fled the area. The accused was located a short time later and arrested without incident.

Charged with malicious wounding

**INCIDENTS**
Residential Burglary – On February 2 at 8:39AM, officers responded to a residence located at the 12700 block of Vantage View Ln in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred sometime between 8:00AM and 8:00PM on February 1. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made into the home through an unlocked rear window. Money and jewelry were reported missing.
