**INCIDENTS**
Aggravated Malicious Wounding | Shooting Investigation – On June 19 at 1:45AM, officers responded to the area of Ashton Ave and Rosemary Dr in Manassas (20109) to investigate a shooting. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 20 year old woman of Manassas, was driving her vehicle in the above area when she saw the accused, an acquaintance, and pulled over to speak with him. During the encounter, the victim and the accused were involved in a verbal altercation. As the victim attempted to drive away, the accused brandished a handgun and fired into the victim’s vehicle striking her in the arm. Two other occupants of the vehicle were not injured. The victim contacted police then responded to a local hospital with serious, non-life threatening injuries. The accused fled the area prior to officers arriving. Following the investigation, officers obtained warrants for the arrest of the accused. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.

Jamar Donta JACKSON RICE, 28, of 7577 Margate Ct Apt 103 in Manassas
Described as a black male, 5’08”, 175lbs with black hair and brown eyes
Wanted for 1 count of aggravated malicious wounding, 2 counts of attempted aggravated malicious wounding, 3 counts of use of a firearm in commission of a felony, and 3 counts of shooting into an occupied vehicle
Carjacking | Felony Eluding – On June 17 at 8:52PM, officers responded to the Wal-Mart located at 14000 Worth Ave in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a carjacking. The victim, a 51 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he returned to his vehicle in the parking lot when he was approached by an unknown man. The suspect opened the driver’s door and pulled the victim from the vehicle. At that point, the suspect got into the vehicle and fled the area. Minor injuries were reported. On June 18 at 1:41AM, officers located the vehicle traveling on Old Bridge Rd near Rolling Brook Rd. When officers activated their lights and siren, the driver refused to stop and fled at a high rate of speed towards I-95. Officers pursued the vehicle north into Fairfax County where police terminated the pursuit for safety reasons. The vehicle was eventually located by police in Washington D.C. where the driver bailed from the vehicle and fled on foot. A front passenger was taken into custody by law enforcement without incident. During the investigation, detectives from Prince William County were able to identify the driver as the accused. Detectives determined that the front passenger was not connected to the original incident on Worth Ave. Following the investigation, detectives obtained warrants for the arrest of the accused, identified as Jose Neftaly CANALES GRANADOS. The accused has ties to Prince William County and attempts to locate him have been unsuccessful.

Described as a Hispanic male, 5’7”, 145lbs with a black hair and brown eyes
Wanted for carjacking, felony eluding, and driving on a revoked license
Reckless Handling of a Firearm – On June 18 at 9:45PM, officers responded to the 2800 block of Gloucester Ct in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a shots fired call. Several callers reported to police that multiple gunshots were heard in the above area. Officers checked the area and located several shell casings in the street. No injuries or property damage were reported.
